WHAT IS BEANSCREEN?

BeanScreen is a cinema run by the Creative Arts Department at Highlands College. It is housed in the same theatre space that our Performing Arts students use every day. All funds raised from the sales of tickets go toward the upkeep of the facilities used by all of our Creative Arts students unless specified.

IS THERE FREE PARKING AND DISABLED ACCESS?

Yes, there is free parking outside of the Highlands College Media Centre.
There is disabled access into the building and cinema area, however while there are toilet facilities available on the same floor, they are unfortunately not disabled toilets.

WHERE IS BEANSCREEN BASED?

BeanScreen is based in the Highlands College Media Centre Theatre on the old D'Hautree School campus. It is half way up St. Saviour's Hill on the right side of the road.

ARE THERE COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE?

The following COVID-19 restrictions are in place to allow us to continue running BeanScreen
1) Our audiences are limited to a maximum of 10 per session, with social distancing between groups.
2) Except when sitting down and eating while watching the film, patrons must please wear a mask.
3) No film we show will last longer than 2h30m.
4) There is a one-way system in place.
